R. E. Bruné, luthier Instrument Purchase Policy

Since 1966 R. E. Bruné, luthier has been an acknowledged expert and leader in the guitar community. We are very conservative and demanding in the selection of our inventory we offer to you. It is our wish that you be 100% satisfied with the instrument or other items you purchase from us. Therefore we offer all our instruments strictly on an approval, or trial basis, so that you may personally inspect and try out an instrument before committing to buy it. We don¹t buy instruments sight unseen, and we don¹t expect you to do so, either.

R. E. Bruné, luthier will ship a guitar anywhere in the continental U.S. on a 48-hour approval basis by Fedex or other specified commercial carrier with the instrument prepaid by cashier's check, money order or any major credit card (Note: in-store purchases do not qualify for the 48-hour approval period). R. E. Bruné, luthier will pay shipping and insurance charges to your destination. For customers located in Alaska, Hawaii, or APO/FPO address, we will charge a reasonable shipping and carriage insurance fee. Should you decide for any reason not to purchase the instrument, you can return it to R. E. Bruné, luthier using the same shipping materials at your expense. Returned instruments must be insured and shipping charges prepaid by the customer and instruments are the sole responsibility of the customer until receipt and inspection by R. E. Bruné, luthier. You must inform R. E. Bruné, luthier of your intention to return the instrument, and follow packing/shipping instruction as provided by R. E. Bruné, luthier. ORDERING A BRUNÉ GUITAR

Normally R. E. Bruné guitars are not available for immediate sale due to the long waiting list for delivery. currently 5 years. Occasionally older used Bruné instruments may be offered as part of the R. E. Bruné, luthier inventory, and these are subject to the usual terms and policies of purchase.

Each and every Bruné guitar is made specifically for each client. The ³Model² designations are as much to indicate price levels based on wood selection and decoration rather than to imply an inflexible model of immutable dimensions or tone. The entire rationale to order an instrument requiring such a long wait is to obtain the exact tool you require for your playing style and musical preferences, so each and every Bruné guitar is made specifically for each player, who commissions an instrument. Each is a unique creation as personal as each player who owns them.

In order to place an order for a Bruné guitar, the following is required:

1. 20% deposit, which guarantees the price at delivery and your spot on the waiting list. Payment may be made in the form of a personal check, credit card, or other conveyance.

2. Once your name comes up in the order of construction, R. E. Bruné, luthier will contact you to discuss the final details of sound, feel, action, materials, and other important concerns in order to specifically address your personal needs.

3. Deposits are refundable (without interest) under the following circumstances:

Anytime after ordering but prior to beginning actual construction
Once construction has begun, deposits are not refundable
If a client cancels an order, no future order will be accepted from the client
Deposits are NOT transferable nor may they be assigned.

4. Upon completion, you will still have a 48 hour approval period. The balance plus shipping and any applicable taxes and/or duties must be paid before delivery. Should you not be satisfied, you may return the instrument for full 100% refund of the original purchase price provided the instrument is in the original condition as it was delivered. Return shipping, insurance and other charges are the responsibility of the customer.

R. E. Bruné, luthier reserves the right to refuse an order from anyone who is not the intended end user of the instrument, or from those placing orders purely for the purpose of speculating or profiteering.
