Sound is bright and crisp, basses are firm, almost edgy like a Fleta, and the instrument has good color and dynamic range. Some makers are charging a premium to use Brazilian rosewood equal to the price of this instrument, so the value is really good. No cracks or repairs, but there is considerable playing wear visible on the french polished top. $3,500
