Rosette has delicate center circle of matched abalone pearl. Bound in rosewood with black/red/white purflings, all wood, NO PLASTIC. Neck is fitted with 2 way adjustable truss rod. An exceptionally responsive and easy to play small bodied steel string. The non-traditional cypress sides and back give an immediate clear sprightly character to the sound, and the instrument is as light as a feather.
